We
design with the AVR microcontroller.
We have worked with clients using many microcontrollers over the years, and have
discovered that one family of microcontrollers stands head and shoulders
above the rest in its class.

We have selected the Atmel AVR family of microcontrollers as our in-house
microcontroller for its
-
RISC-based architecture
-
Simple but powerful
peripherals, including excellent analog interface capability
-
Focus on high-level language
programming
-
Low power operation
-
Flash memory
programming (and easy field reprogramming)
Since
1999 we have been an Atmel designated Design Consultant
for the AVR family of microcontrollers. This gives you the assurance that
you are working with experienced professionals, using the latest AVR
development tools. Our clients have interfaced AVR processors to numerous
sensors directly, and through the RS-232, IIC, SPI USB and Ethernet
interfaces.
We use reference designs in-house to develop user-focused devices that use
LCD displays as well.
Recent
designs include
-
Battery-powered
modem with software modulation/demodulation to reduce parts,
and increase reliability.
-
Simple
web server that monitors and controls switches and relays.
Presentation is user configurable using HTML.
-
Sensor
interface, using the ADC peripherals. Used controllable gain to
increase ADC resolution. Sensors included depth/pressure, temperature,
supply voltage and current, and hydrophones.
-
In-line
two way repeater for long underwater
telemetry line.

our resources page for more AVR Information.
